Privacy Policy

• Your account: your name, email address and profile picture from Google when you sign in.
• Your invitation: what you put in it, such as names, dates, venues, photos, music and messages. Anyone with your invitation link can see it, because that is what it is for.
• Orders: what you bought, the price, any coupon used, and the payment reference. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay; we never see or store them.
• Instagram comments: see below.

To run your account, build and host your invitation, take payment, email you receipts and invitation links, answer your questions, and keep the service secure.

When you comment on one of our Instagram posts asking for the link (for example “link” or “price”), our system sends you one direct message with it, using Instagram's official tools for business accounts. We only message people who commented on our posts, and only once per post.

For this we keep your Instagram username, the comment text, which post it was on, when the message was sent, and whether the link in it was opened. We use this only to send that message and to see which posts people find useful. We don't message you again unless you write back.

Only the services that run ScrollVite for us, and only what each one needs:

• Google (sign-in), Razorpay (payments), Resend (email).
• Railway and Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (photo and file storage).
• Meta (Instagram), for the messages described above.

We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.

We keep your account and invitations while your account exists, so your link keeps working. We keep order records as long as tax law requires. We delete Instagram comment records after 12 months.

Email support@scrollvite.com from the email you sign in with, or send a DM to @scrollvite on Instagram, and say “delete my data”. We delete your account, invitations, photos and Instagram comment records within 30 days and confirm when it's done. Order records we must keep for tax are kept only as long as the law requires.

You can also remove ScrollVite's access to Instagram at any time, under Settings › Website permissions › Apps and websites in the Instagram app.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, at any time, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Write to support@scrollvite.com and we will reply within 30 days.
